Joanne Wong is an artist, illustrator & children’s author from London UK, now residing in the tropical countryside of Hong Kong where she lives with her husband and pet rabbit. Spending her days painting, scribbling ideas and avoiding mosquitos as well as the large crowds of HK.

Joanne received a MA in Illustration from University of Arts London at Camberwell, she’s also a graduate from the Children’s book Academy. Joanne currently runs art classes & workshops for children and adults in the New territories HK. Have a look at her kid’s classes here. 

An active member of HK SCBWI, Joanne also runs an Illustration Meet up group called HK ILLO.

Her debut book ‘Mollie, Fluffy & the Magic Shell’ is out on Amazon and Woods in the Books in Singapore.

Joanne was picked to be a 2017 Winner of WNDB Illustration Mentorship, she is currently being mentored by the award winning picture book maker, Jessixa Bagley.
